The Parish Council joins with the nation in mourning the sad loss of Prince Philip, and has expressed its sincere condolences to the Queen and other members of the Royal Family.
Should you wish to be actively involved in expression of sympathy and mourning, the official guidance is as follows:
Books of Condolence:
In accordance with public health advice, there will be no physical books of condolence at any Royal Residence, UK Government or Devolved Administration buildings. Members of the public will be invited to contribute to a national online book of condolence found on the Royal website The Royal Family
The public should be advised against laying floral or other memorial tributes at Royal residences and public spaces. The Royal Household understand that members of the public would like to express their grief on the death of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. Making a donation to one of His Royal Highness’s many patronages is a fitting way of paying tribute to his remarkable legacy. A list of His Royal Highness’s patronages, and how you can donate can be found on the Royal Website.
