Affordable Homes for Local People
The development of 22 affordable homes at Spyway Orchard, in the centre of Langton Matravers, is on schedule to be completed by June 2022.
This is a unique opportunity for Langton connected households to acquire a new home at social rents (typically 50-60% of private rents) or to get on the housing ladder by the part purchase/rent of a shared ownership property.
There is a mixture of 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes for rent and two 3-bedroom properties for shared ownership.
All these properties must legally be prioritised for households with a local connection to the Parish of Langton Matravers.
To stand any chance to acquire one of the 20 rented properties you must register on the new Dorset Council’s Home Choice system. There is a no time to lose as it could take between 2 and 3 months to complete a registration
