“TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF B3069, COOMBE HILL, LANGTON MATRAVERS
DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14  of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended.
All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along part of the B3069, COOMBE HILL, LANGTON MATRAVERS in the
vicinity of Coombe Farm (in both directions), for a distance of approximately 200 metres. The Notice is needed to
comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise
likelihood of danger to highway users.
It will come into operation on wednesday 5th May 2021 and will remain in force for five days. However it is
anticipated that the works will take place between 09.30hrs and 15:30hrs on Wednesday 5th May 2021 only.
This Notice will enable BT engineers to replace poles and transfer some plant underground.
Alternative routes will be sign posted, as indicated by the blue line on the map below.
Please note that temporary 3-way traffic signals will be placed at the junction with Coombe Hill and Three Acre
Lane at the same time that this road closure will be in place, to help facilitate the works.
