Following Buckingham Palace’s statement issued on Thursday, 8th September 2022 that, ‘The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon’, Langton Matravers Parish Council expresses its deepest regret. A Book of Condolences for people to leave tributes to Queen Elizabeth II will be available in Langton Matravers Village Hall as of Monday, 12th September. Buckingham Palace has opened an official Book of Condolence online on the royal.uk website. There will be a Service of Remembrance at St George’s Church at 10 am on Sunday, 11th September.
